Alex is a second-year Mechatronics Engineering student from Ottawa who knows how to mix fun with academics. From wandering campus blindfolded to sipping on Turbos at Clark, Alex shared his Queen’s experiences and some solid advice.

Last year in dorms, Alex and his friends took campus exploration to a whole new level:

“We made a bet that we couldn’t walk around campus blind, so we put on blindfolds and wandered the entire night. It was pretty wild.” 🏫🤷‍♂️🕶️

“The Turbo at Clark—it’s a mix of Smirnoff Ice and beer.” A campus classic! 🍺🍋

“Six and a half.” Not bad for an engineering student. 😴💤

“Take your time. A lot of people jump into things too fast. Think things through before making a move.” 🕰️🤔

“When I was in grade six, I liked a girl a lot, so I learned a song on the guitar and sang it to her at school. She rejected me.” A+ for effort, but ouch. 🎶💔
